Method
 

  1. Gather your dried thyme, rosemary, and oregano in a small mixing bowl.
  2. Measure and add 2 tablespoons dried thyme, 2 tablespoons dried rosemary, and 1 tablespoon dried oregano to the bowl.
  3. Add 1 tablespoon garlic powder and 1 tablespoon onion powder to the herb mixture.
  4. Mix in 2 teaspoons black pepper, 2 teaspoons smoked paprika, and 1 teaspoon dried mustard powder.
  5. Stir in 1 teaspoon sea salt and 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper.
  6. Add 1/2 teaspoon ground bay leaf to the spice blend.
  7. Whisk or stir vigorously for 1 to 2 minutes until all ingredients are evenly combined and free of clumps.
  8. Transfer the seasoning mix into an airtight spice jar or container, label with the date and contents, and store in a cool, dark place.
