  • 1 cup fresh or frozen strawberries
  • 1 cup coconut water
  • 2 tablespoons acai powder
  • 1 tablespoon honey or agave syrup optional
  • Ice cubes optional, for a chilled drink

Method
 

  1. Wash the strawberries under cold water and remove the green tops.
  2. Gather and measure all ingredients so you can mix everything easily.
  3. Add the strawberries and coconut water to the blender.
  4. Stir in the acai powder until well combined.
  5. Add honey or agave syrup if desired and blend again to integrate the sweetener.
  6. Add ice cubes for a chilled, slushy texture, if desired.
  7. Blend the mixture until it reaches a smooth consistency.
  8. Pour the refresher into glasses and garnish with a strawberry on the rim before serving.

Notes

For the best flavor, use ripe strawberries and quality acai powder.
