Ingredients

Main
  • 1 lb pizza dough
  • 2 cups fresh spinach chopped
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese shredded
  • 1/2 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 egg beaten (for egg wash)

Equipment

  • Oven
  • Baking sheet
  • Parchment paper
  • Mixing bowl
  • Rolling pin
  • Sharp knife or pizza cutter

Method

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the chopped spinach, mozzarella cheese, ricotta cheese, Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  3. On a lightly floured surface, roll out the pizza dough into a rectangle about 1/4 inch thick.
  4. Spread the spinach filling evenly over the rolled-out dough, leaving about an inch of space around the edges.
  5. Starting from one long edge, carefully roll the dough tightly into a log.
  6. Pinch the ends of the dough to seal them shut.
  7. Place the rolled Stromboli seam side down on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  8. Brush the top with the beaten egg.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
