Ingredients

Main
  • 1 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar packed
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup Reese's peanut butter cups chopped
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Equipment

  • Baking sheet
  • Parchment paper
  • Mixing bowls
  • Electric mixer or whisk
  • Measuring cups and spoons
  • Cookie scoop or tablespoon

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  6. Gently fold in the chopped Reese's peanut butter cups and chocolate chips.
  7. Using a cookie scoop or tablespoon, drop rounded balls of dough onto a parchment-lined baking sheet, leaving space between each cookie.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden. Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

For thicker cookies, chill the dough for 30 minutes before baking.
