Ingredients

Main
  • 1/2 cup chia seeds
  • 2 cups almond milk or any milk of choice
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Equipment

  • Mixing bowl
  • Whisk or spoon
  • Measuring cups
  • Serving glasses or bowls
  • Refrigerator

Method

  1. Start by measuring out all your ingredients. Having everything ready makes the mixing process smooth and easy.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the chia seeds and almond milk. Stir well to ensure the seeds are evenly distributed.
  3. Add the honey or maple syrup along with the vanilla extract and a pinch of salt. This will enhance the overall flavor and sweetness.
  4. Give the mixture another good stir to combine everything. This helps prevent clumping and ensures a smooth texture.
  5. Cover the bowl and let it sit for about 5-10 minutes. This allows the chia seeds to absorb the liquid and expand.
  6. After the resting period, check the mixture. If it’s too thick, add a bit more milk and stir again.
  7. Transfer the mixture into serving glasses or bowls and place them in the refrigerator. Chilling helps the pudding thicken and develop flavor.
  8. After at least an hour of chilling, your chia pudding is ready. Top with fruits, nuts, or granola for added texture and flavor.

Notes

For a creamier texture, let the mixture sit overnight in the fridge.
