  • 3 tablespoons butter melted
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon dried dill
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt or to taste
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper optional, for mild heat

Equipment

  • Large mixing bowl
  • Measuring spoons and cups
  • Wooden spoon or silicone spatula
  • Shallow baking sheet or sheet pan
  • Small saucepan or microwave safe bowl
  • Whisk
  • Parchment paper
  • Airtight container

Method

  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and preheat the oven to 300 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together garlic powder, onion powder, dried dill, dried parsley, paprika, black pepper, salt, and cayenne pepper until evenly combined.
  3. Place pretzel pieces in a large mixing bowl.
  4. Drizzle melted butter over the pretzels and toss with a wooden spoon or silicone spatula until each piece is evenly coated.
  5. Sprinkle the seasoning mixture over the buttered pretzels and toss again until all pieces are fully coated.
  6. Spread the seasoned pretzels in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet to avoid overcrowding.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 8 to 10 minutes, stirring halfway through baking for even toasting.
  8. Remove the pretzels from the oven and let them cool completely on the baking sheet before transferring to an airtight container.
