  • 1.5 ounces vodka
  • 1 ounce Baileys Irish Cream
  • 1 ounce half-and-half
  • 0.5 ounce pumpkin puree pure pumpkin
  • 0.25 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch ground cinnamon
  • Pinch ground nutmeg
  • Small pinch ground ginger
  • Ice cubes
  • Whipped cream for topping (optional)
  • Cinnamon stick or cocoa powder for garnish (optional)

  • Jigger or measuring cup
  • Strainer
  • Martini glass
  • Bar spoon or long spoon

Method
 

  1. Chill the martini glass in the freezer for at least 2 minutes.
  2. Stir 0.5 ounce pumpkin puree in a cocktail shaker with a bar spoon to loosen it.
  3. Add 1.5 ounces vodka, 1 ounce Baileys Irish Cream, and 1 ounce half-and-half to the shaker.
  4. Add 0.25 teaspoon vanilla extract to the shaker.
  5. Add a pinch of ground cinnamon, a pinch of ground nutmeg, and a small pinch of ground ginger to the shaker.
  6. Fill the shaker with ice cubes (about 6 to 8) and shake vigorously for 10 to 15 seconds until chilled and frosty.
  7. Strain the mixture into the chilled martini glass, catching any ice shards or pulp.
  8. Top with whipped cream if desired and garnish with a cinnamon stick or a dusting of cocoa powder before serving immediately.
