Ingredients
  

Seasoning
  • 3 tablespoons garlic powder
  • 2 tablespoons onion powder
  • 2 tablespoons smoked paprika
  • 2 tablespoons black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon sea salt
  • 1 tablespoon dried oregano
  • 1 tablespoon dried thyme
  • 1 tablespoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 teaspoon garlic salt

Equipment

  • Small mixing bowl
  • Measuring spoons
  • Whisk or small spoon
  • Airtight glass jar or container
  • Spice grinder (optional)

Method
 

  1. Gather all the spices and equipment in your workspace.
  2. Add 3 tablespoons of garlic powder and 2 tablespoons of onion powder into the mixing bowl.
  3. Add 2 tablespoons of smoked paprika to the bowl.
  4. Add 2 tablespoons of black pepper and 1 tablespoon of sea salt to the bowl.
  5. Stir in 1 tablespoon of dried oregano and 1 tablespoon of dried thyme.
  6. Add 1 tablespoon of cayenne pepper and 1 teaspoon of red pepper flakes.
  7. Finish by adding 1 teaspoon of garlic salt.
  8. Whisk all ingredients together thoroughly for at least 1 minute, breaking up any clumps and ensuring an even mix.
  9. Taste the seasoning and adjust the heat or salt by adding extra cayenne pepper or paprika as desired.
  10. Transfer the seasoning blend to an airtight glass jar and store in a cool, dark pantry.

Store in a cool, dark pantry for up to six months.
