Method
- In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, egg, garlic, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
- Use your hands to shape the mixture into meatballs about 1 inch in diameter.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and add a drizzle of oil. Sear the meatballs for about 5 minutes, turning them to brown all sides.
- Pour the marinara sauce over the browned meatballs in the skillet. Simmer on low heat for about 15 minutes.
- While the meatballs are cooking, bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
- Add the spaghetti to the boiling water and cook according to package instructions, usually about 8-10 minutes.
- Once the spaghetti is cooked, drain it and add it to the skillet with the meatballs and sauce. Toss gently to coat the pasta.
- Serve the spaghetti and meatballs hot, garnished with additional Parmesan and parsley if desired.
Notes
For extra flavor, let the meatballs simmer longer in the sauce; this will make them even more tender and delicious.
