Main
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon lemon zest
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Equipment

  • Small saucepan
  • Whisk

  • Heat resistant spatula

Method

  1. In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
  2. Once melted, stir in the lemon juice and lemon zest.
  3. Add the black pepper, garlic powder, and salt to the mixture.
  4. Using a whisk, mix the sauce thoroughly until well combined.
  5. Reduce the heat to low and let the sauce simmer for about 5 minutes.
  6. Taste and adjust the seasoning if needed.
  7. Once your wings are cooked, toss them in the sauce until well coated.
  8. Serve the wings hot, garnished with extra lemon zest if desired.

Notes

For a thicker sauce, let it simmer for a few extra minutes to reduce the liquid.
