Ingredients

Main
  • 1 pound sirloin steak cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley chopped (for garnish)

Equipment

  • Large mixing bowl
  • Skillet or grill
  • Meat thermometer
  • Tongs
  • Cutting board
  • Sharp knife

Method

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the soy sauce, olive oil, Worcestershire sauce, minced garlic, black pepper, and salt.
  2. Add the cut sirloin steak to the marinade, ensuring each piece is well coated. Let it marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  3. Preheat your skillet or grill over medium-high heat.
  4. Once hot, add the marinated steak tips to the skillet or grill. Cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side.
  5. During the last minute of cooking, add the butter to the skillet.
  6. Check the internal temperature using a meat thermometer.
  7. Remove the steak tips from the heat and let them rest for a few minutes.
  8. Transfer the steak tips to a serving plate and sprinkle with freshly chopped parsley.

Notes

Letting the steak rest after cooking allows the juices to redistribute.
