Homemade Chicken Taco Seasoning

This homemade chicken taco seasoning takes five minutes to mix together and transforms plain chicken into restaurant-quality tacos. You control every ingredient, can dial the heat up or down, adjust the salt, and skip anything you don't want. The balance between warm spices, smoky depth, and just enough salt makes the flavors pop.

Notes

Store in a cool, dark cupboard away from heat and humidity. Use 2 tablespoons of seasoning per pound of chicken or ground meat for perfectly seasoned tacos. Mix the seasoning directly into the meat with a tablespoon of water to help it distribute evenly and stick to each piece. Adjust cayenne to taste for heat preference.
