  • 2 cups vanilla ice cream
  • 1 cup fresh or frozen blackberries
  • 1/2 cup whole milk
  • 2 tablespoons sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract

Method
 

  1. Gather all ingredients and let vanilla ice cream soften slightly at room temperature for about 2 minutes.
  2. Scoop 2 cups of vanilla ice cream into the blender.
  3. Pour 1/2 cup of whole milk over the ice cream to help the blender operate smoothly.
  4. Add 1 cup of fresh or frozen blackberries to the blender.
  5. Drizzle 2 tablespoons of sweetened condensed milk into the blender for sweetness, color, and richness.
  6. Add 1/4 teaspoon of vanilla extract to brighten the flavor.
  7. Blend on high speed for 30 to 45 seconds, stopping halfway to scrape down the sides with a spatula, until completely smooth.
  8. Pour the shake evenly into two tall glasses and serve immediately with straws.

Notes

Shake is best enjoyed immediately; leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 hours and reblended before serving.
