  • 1 small onion chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 can 15 ounces crushed tomatoes

  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley chopped for garnish

  1. Start by boiling a large pot of salted water for the spaghetti.
  2. In a large pot or Dutch oven, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
  3. Add the chicken pieces to the pot and cook until browned on all sides, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Stir in the chopped onion and minced garlic, cooking until the onions are translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
  5. Pour in the crushed tomatoes, stirring well to combine.
  6. Add the oregano, basil, salt, and pepper to taste.
  7. Lower the heat and let the sauce simmer for about 10-15 minutes.
