Main
  • 1 package 14 oz cocktail smokies
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce
  • 1/2 cup grape jelly
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

Equipment

  • Large skillet or saucepan
  • Wooden spoon or spatula
  • Measuring cups and spoons
  • Serving dish

Method

  1. In a large skillet, combine the barbecue sauce, grape jelly, Worcestershire sauce, and garlic powder. Stir until fully mixed.

  3. Once the sauce is bubbling, add the cocktail smokies to the skillet and stir gently to coat them in the sauce.
  4. Reduce the heat to low and cover the skillet. Let the smokies simmer for about 15 minutes.
  5. Stir the smokies occasionally during simmering to prevent sticking.
  6. After 15 minutes, ensure the smokies are heated through and steaming.
  7. Transfer the cocktail smokies to a serving dish.
  8. Serve warm, pairing them with toothpicks for easy snacking.

Notes

For an extra kick, add a dash of hot sauce to the barbecue mixture before cooking.
