  • 1 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 cups butterscotch chips
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Method

  1. Line a 9x9 inch baking dish with parchment paper, leaving some overhang for easy removal.

  3. Once the butter is melted, stir in the sweetened condensed milk.
  4. Add the butterscotch chips to the mixture, stirring until fully melted.
  5. Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the vanilla extract and salt.
  6. Carefully pour the fudge mixture into the prepared dish and spread it evenly.
  7. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until firm.
  8. Once set, lift the fudge out of the dish using the parchment overhang, cut into squares and serve.

Notes

For a fun twist, sprinkle some sea salt on top before chilling. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to two weeks.
