Ingredients

Main
  • 2 cups Bisquick mix
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil or melted butter
  • 1 tablespoon sugar optional
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder if you like extra fluffiness

Equipment

  • Mixing bowl
  • Measuring cups and spoons
  • Baking sheet
  • Parchment paper (optional)
  • Whisk or fork
  • Rolling pin (optional)

Method

  1. Preheat your oven to 450°F (232°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the Bisquick mix and sugar (if using).
  3. Pour in the milk and vegetable oil (or melted butter). Stir gently until the mixture forms a soft dough.
  4. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  5. Using your hands or a spoon, drop spoonfuls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, about 2 inches apart.
  6. Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 10 to 15 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Once baked, remove the biscuits from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes.
  8. Serve warm with butter, jam, or alongside your favorite meal.

Notes

These biscuits are best enjoyed fresh but can be reheated later. For a buttery finish, brush the tops with melted butter right after baking.
