Ingredients

Main
  • 2 pounds baby potatoes halved
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley chopped for garnish (optional)

Equipment

  • Air fryer
  • Large mixing bowl
  • Cutting board
  • Chef's knife
  • Measuring spoons
  • Spatula or tongs

Method

  1. Wash the baby potatoes thoroughly to remove any dirt.
  2. Halve the potatoes for quicker cooking and more crispy surfaces.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the halved potatoes with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
  4. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
  5. Place the seasoned potatoes in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  6. Cook the potatoes at 400°F (200°C) for 20-25 minutes.
  7. Shake the basket halfway through to ensure even cooking and browning.
  8. Check if the potatoes are fork-tender and crispy after 20 minutes; if not, cook for a few more minutes.
  9. Once done, transfer the potatoes to a serving dish.
  10. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley and serve hot.

Notes

For extra crispiness, soak the potatoes in water for 30 minutes before seasoning. Serve alongside grilled chicken or steak.
